School Tours

Thank you for your interest in the St. Cyril of Jerusalem School. St. Cyril has a reputation for innovation, creativity, dedication, and excellence.  Our faculty and staff set us apart from other surrounding schools in their experience, enthusiasm, and willingness to do whatever it takes to reach each child. 
 

Come Visit the School

Tours are generally scheduled for Tuesday mornings at 9:00am and are held every week school is in session, BUT we are flexible with your schedule! Please call the school office to reserve a space for a tour at (818) 501-4155.

Dates of Note:

  • Application Deadline for 2020-2021 School Year: February 3, 2019 (this is to test on site; enrollment is rolling)

  • Open House: January 23, 2020, 6:00pm - 8:00pm

  • Testing Date: February 7, 2020 (for grades K - 8)

Key Facts About the School

  • 100% of the Class of 2019 were accepted in their high school of choice, including Notre Dame, Providence Crespi, Louisville, Chaminade, and Alemany.

  • Almost half of our acceptances were given with honors at entrance in at least one academic subject

  • More than $35,000 in academic scholarships were awarded to our 2019 graduates.

  • Past alumni have been valedictorians at Louisville, Notre Dame, Crespi (including the class of 2015), and Marymount high schools.

  • St. Cyril alumni who have recently graduated high school were accepted to Stanford, Annapolis, UCLA, Berkeley, Notre Dame, John Hopkins, NYU,  and other prestigious schools.

  • SmartBoards in classrooms K-8, an updated wireless network, MacBook Lab, video production class, robotics/coding program, and a school-wide iPad program, including a one-to-one iPad program for grades 5th-8th grade students.

  • A rigorous academic environment that requires critical thinking and problem solving.

  • Hands-on, project-based learning activities to connect learning to real life, including a new project-based and STEM aligned science curriculum.
