Mrs. Duncan received her Degree in Social Science with an emphasis in History from San Diego State University in 2009. She began substitute teaching at various Los Angeles Independent Schools and coaching high school basketball at Buckley School in Sherman Oaks. In 2013, Mrs. Duncan received her Masters in Teaching with a specialization in Best Teaching Practices from National University. She comes to St. Cyril after teaching for two years in 3rd and 4th grade here in Los Angeles at Mirman School, an institution for highly gifted children.
Mrs. Duncan is extremely excited to be a part of the SCJ community. She believes that each and every child has the potential to bring something unique and special to this world. She cannot wait to help her students realize their amazing potential and flourish into capable, independent, and compassionate human beings. Mrs. Duncan also believes that teaching provides an opportunity for continual learning and growth. Her aspiration is to instill a love of learning in her students, as she shares her own passion for learning with them.
