Dear Parents,

We are part of an exciting time at St. Cyril. So many wonderful things are happening at our school. The state-of-the-art science lab that we dreamed of building last year has now become a reality. Our children will stay competitive in the field of science with their access to current scientific equipment and be confident in the knowledge they receive from working in an up-to-date science lab.

This progress has led St. Cyril to the realization that technology goes hand in hand with science and all other subjects. It is because of this that our next endeavor is to help support the one-to-one iPad program in technology at St. Cyril. Technology is now and it is essential to support our children so that they can thrive in a technologically advanced future.

Our children’s environment is also important to their learning. The classrooms are the heart of the school and they need to be updated so that children and teachers can feel good about the space they are in. The PVC is very excited to support the modernization of classrooms and looks forward to creating the future classroom.

Our goal this year is to raise $150,000 with a long-term goal to raise $500,000 over the next three years.  This capital campaign will position us in a leadership role among the community.

We are excited to begin the school year with the wonderful Italian Family Dinner Dance in September where you can eat great food and dance with your children and friends under the stars. Then the Hootenanny School Festival in November where we roll up our sleeves and work side by side to give our children and the community three fun days of carnival rides, food, music and an incredible Auction.  The Jog-a-Thon in January brings our tremendous Dad's Club out to serve a delicious BBQ while our children run laps to their favorite tunes. Finally, we celebrate the year-end with the Maui & More Raffle drawing at our infamous Lounge Lizard in May 2013. These events are FUN and

yet critical to the overall support of our school. We can do this together for our children and I look forward to the journey with you. We are now, this is our time and together we can create our future school!
