"Even as an architect I was drawn to the classroom. During both my undergraduate and graduate studies, I enjoyed working in the local schools teaching architecture to students. In graduate school I spent a summer traveling Japan studying the architecture of their schools. When I graduated with my Masters in Architecture, I worked for a Washington DC firm that specialized in building schools and dormitories."
"Combining my architecture background with education is a wonderful way to stimulate my students curiosity, encourage hands on learning, teach collaboration and promote self-discovery". Mrs. Cohen utilizes project based learning and technology integration into her teaching.
Mrs. Cohen is married and has a daughter who is a Notre Dame Knight and a teenage athlete, drum playing son.
