St. Cyril’s C.L.A.S.S. (Community of Learners Aligned to Spark Success) Enrichment Center officially opened in the fall of 2007 and is a philosophy as much as it is a place where all learners are challenged and supported to achieve their personal best. By creating a collaborative unit of student, parents, and classroom teacher, students are instructed in various ways to reach their goals and motivate themselves to improve their achievement regardless of their level of performance (below grade, on grade, or above grade level). Students may benefit from this instructional support individually, in small-group, and in whole class settings. Parents are also supported on ways to motivate and facilitate independence thereby making students responsible for their own learning.
The goal of the C.L.A.S.S Center is to foster enthusiasm and confidence in a supportive environment where children reach his or her full potential and become life- long learners.
